The interest in Norra Skog's forest owner plans is significant as they serve as a valuable support for forest owners and constitute a foundational document for PEFC certification, among other things. Forest owners within Norra Skog's operational area request forest owner plans covering approximately 100,000 hectares each year. We are now looking for a planner for the Western field area based in Lycksele.

Your new job

We offer you a field-based position combined with days in the office. During the summer season, a large part of your working time will be spent in the field, while in winter you will primarily work on updating existing plans and preparing for the upcoming field season. In addition to planning and updating plans, you will play an important role in assisting Norra Skog's forest inspectors, forest economists, and brokers with various planning-related tasks. You will also contribute to the development of methodologies and working methods for creating the forest owner plans of the future.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in forests and land

As a planner, you will have a flexible job where you plan your own days, so it is important that you are structured and have good initiative and decision-making skills. Even though your work is performed independently, you will be part of a team with competent and engaged colleagues where everyone contributes their expertise. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is communicative and has a desire to work towards common goals. To thrive as a planner, you should enjoy working outdoors, as a large part of your working time will be spent in forests and land. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with a forestry education and relevant experience for the planner role. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with planning.

• Possession of a driver's license is a requirement for the role.

• The position is a temporary contract from May 1 to October 31, based in Lycksele.
